It’s Time To Panic! Again!
John's game room is safe so it's time to ship out some homebrew! A simple walk to the mailbox should prove easy, right? WRONG! Even more bugs descend upon your path – not to mention that Washington weather. Pick back up your carts and deliver the goods!
Gameplay
A title screen will appear displaying the current high score. Pressing start will display a message. Pressing start once again will begin the game.
The score will be displayed bottom center on the TV screen. Just right of the score three hearts will be displayed, indicating that the player has three lives left. Miles traveled are tracked to the bottom right.
The players will start walking automatically. Pressing LEFT or RIGHT will move John across the screen. Bugs, lightning and clouds will begin to fall in increasingly challenging fashion. Avoid contact and collect game carts while traveling to the mail sign.
As an outstanding citizen, John obeys any street signs near. GO signs will increase movement speed while STOP signs slow you down. If contact is made between falling objects and the player a heart and eight miles are deducted. When all three hearts have been spent the game is over. Upon loss of all lives the current high score is displayed.
Use your controller to maneuver your player within the lower half of the screen left and right. Press START to begin playing or progress messages. START also pauses and un-pauses the game .
Scoring
1 point is awarded for each mile traveled. Reaching a mail sign awards 1 point for each cart collected.
Difficulty
Reaching mile 16 will double the bugs falling.
Reaching mile 32 will cause lighting to strike.
Reaching mile 48 makes bad clouds warp and dive.
Reaching mile 64 causes bugs and lighting to move faster.
Reaching mile 80 increases enemy speed again.
Pressing the A, B, and C buttons simultaneously will warp you to mile 44.
